Good ol' God; They didn't listen to Pseudo-Dionysius the Areopagite

So, Why me?

Because if there is a God, he has no human attributes. I'm so tired of people blaming God for things or asking why he wouldn't intervene in a negative circumstance. God doesn't want, love, hate, create or any other confluence that is so pointlessly and throughly attributed the theological idea. So, stop ascribing him human characteristics or utilizing human arguments to vindicate your envisioning of him. How hard is it to keep your ignorant and subjective ideas where they belong, to yourself. I do it.

Maybe it is just Spinoza speaking, but God as Substance makes sense. Certainly more so than blaming a theological entity for a bad traffic jam or someone's mother getting cancer. 'Why would God allow such a thing to occur?' You are ascribing a human construct. Only entities can 'do' things. As substance those things naturally occur because that was what was to happen, out of necessity. Humanistically painful as life can be and is, its life. Roll with the punches.

But, Hey, lets go kill some folks because its our idea and realization of an anthropomorphic God that is correct. Why not.

Because only a human ascribed God would want a person to seek retribution or destroy others; again an anthropomorphic entity. So, can't be a God. Murder for the sake of religion... Mean... unnecessary.

I say lets go listen to some Boyz II Men or something instead.

'It's unnatural. You belong to me. I belong to you.'
